Creating Secure Passwords

- First find a large book, like a dictionary or text book.
- Open the book to a random page
- Choose any word on the page on the left (about 5 letters long)
- Note the page number
- Now choose a word from the page on the right
- Create your password by combining the first word, the page number, and the second word: First235Second

Don't click links or accept file transfers from messenger windows, especially if it is the only content in the window.
Messenger clients are often hijacked by viruses and spyware and then send links or files to everyone on the buddy list to spread themselves around.
